Psychiatric Disorders

Psychiatric disorders are health conditions that affect a person’s thoughts, emotions, behaviour, or ability to function in daily life. They include a wide range of conditions, such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, and other mental health conditions. Nutritional Psychology examines how dietary patterns, nutrient intake, and the gut-brain relationship may interact with psychological well-being and symptoms associated with psychiatric disorders.
