About the Encyclopedia of Nutritional Psychology (ENP)

Welcome to the Center for Nutritional Psychology’s Encyclopedia of Nutritional Psychology! Launched in 2024, the ENP is the first online reference dedicated to defining the terms and concepts used in the field of Nutritional Psychology. Development began in 2022, supported by the review and consolidation of thousands of research studies. Today, the ENP comprises many hundreds of entries and continues to grow daily.

Each entry is written and regularly updated by experts across the scientific disciplines that inform Nutritional Psychology. All content and major updates are peer-reviewed by a distinguished Editorial Board before publication, ensuring the ENP remains both academically rigorous and responsive to emerging research.

You can more deeply explore research in nutritional psychology in the Nutritional Psychology Research Library (NPRL), through our evidence-based curriculum, and our CNP Articles in Nutritional Psychology, or through our recently published study introducing the Conceptual Framework for Nutritional Psychology as a New Field of Research to the global scientific community.
