Exploring the association between mental well-being, health-related quality of life, family affluence and food choice in adolescents

The CNP Diet and Resilience/Quality of Life Research Category consolidates research exploring the interdependent relationship between dietary intake and the child and adolescent experience of resilience and quality of life (QOL). The World Health Organization (WHO) defines QoL as an individual's perception of their position in life in context to the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards, and concerns. Standard indicators of QoL include physical and mental health, wealth, employment, environment, education, recreation, leisure time.
